Mervyn Chan

Physiotherapist (Hong Kong & Australia)

​With over two decades of dedicated experience, Mervyn stands as a pioneer in the field of physiotherapy. As the founder and principal physiotherapist of Morthan Cure Physiotherapy clinics, established in Hong Kong since 2011, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the landscape of professional care in the region. Mervyn's expertise extends across various modalities, with specialised training in manual therapy, manipulation, and acupuncture (dry needling). He is renowned for his exceptional proficiency in treating musculoskeletal issues, pain syndromes, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Mervyn ensures seamless communication and comprehensive care for all his patients.

Carmen YEUNG

Physiotherapist

Carmen graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) with a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy and obtained the Advanced Personal Fitness Trainer certification (AASFP) in the same year. In 2007, she completed her Master Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the Curtin University of Technology in Australia. She also achieved a diploma in acupuncture at Sun Yat Sen University.

Carmen had been serving at two hospitals in Singapore - the Gleneagles Hospital (Parkway Group Healthcare) and the Tan Tock Seng Hospital for years, then she moved back to Hong Kong and continue her physio practice in the private sector for more than 10 years.

As Carmen has a great interest in sports physiotherapy, she provided on-field physiotherapy service for different sports events including the Oxfam Trailwalker, Raleigh International Mountain Marathon, Orienteering event for Orienteering Association. She had been working as the team physiotherapist for South China Football Team-Reserve Team and Gai Wu Rugby Team for years. She has extensive experience in sports injury management and rehab training.

To further expand her knowledge, she completed a scoliosis specific course - International Schroth Three Dimensional Scoliosis Therapy (ISST). Being the certified ISST Schroth therapist, she can apply this well-known exercise based Schroth Method for her patients.

Her clinical specialties include Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Management, Scoliosis & Exercise Therapy.

Benny Chan

Benny Chan

Physiotherapist

Benny was graduated at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007. He has worked in St. Teresa Hospital and private setting as physiotherapist for 12 years. He completed his Master degree in Acupuncture in the Chinese University Hong Kong. He has participated as an on-field physiotherapist in Hong Kong Marathon, East-Asian Game, Basketball team of HKPU.



Over a decade of experience in private setting and as an on-field physiotherapist, Benny finds combination of modern physiotherapy modalities, manual skill, acupuncture and therapeutic exercise is the most effective way to enhance healing of musculoskeletal pain and help people return to sport and daily activities.



Benny is fluent in both English and Cantonese. For leisure, he likes to go cycling, hiking, weight training in gym.

Ms. Carmen Lee graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has extensive experience working in private medical groups and hospitals, specializing in challenging areas such as orthopaedics and traumatology, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, and oncology.

In 2010, she earned a Master's degree in Acupuncture.

Recognizing the growing need for post-cancer rehabilitation, Ms. Lee completed specialized courses in oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy to enhance patients' well-being and quality of life.

In addition to outpatient services, she provides on-field physiotherapy for various sports tournaments and serves as a team physiotherapist for local sports clubs.

Tony Lau

Physiotherapist

Tony graduated with First Honours in Physiotherapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. With 19 years of experience working in various private physiotherapy clinics and clinics run by social welfare organisations, he has developed a strong expertise in managing a wide range of pain conditions. Recognising the need to enhance his knowledge and skills, Tony completed a Master's degree in Manual Therapy in 2009 and a Diploma in Acupuncture in 2013, enabling him to treat patients and manage pain more effectively.

Tony places great importance on the accuracy of clinical diagnosis and skillfully integrates the strengths of both Eastern and Western therapeutic approaches to address diverse pain conditions. He has also contributed to the teaching of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a guest lecturer.
